this is a great song and i didn't realize it was in " Adventures in Love" thanks for posting.
Kristin Chenoweth could barely control a Great Dane she trotted onto the stage. "Great, they gave me a dog that weighs five times what I do", she quipped. For the record, she weighs 93 pounds, and has a Maltese.
I love this song, although John Tartaglia's version is my favorite over Kristen's or Susan Egan's.

She was great when she sang this at carnegie hall, omg what a night!

I love this song too, it's hysterical. Obviously it does nothing to showcase Kristin Chenoweth's amazing voice, but the 3 or 4 times I've seen her perform it, it really let her bring out her comedic side, and I loved it. I like my Carnegie recordings though much better than the recording on As I Am, which I felt lacked the personality the song requires.
It's become one of those songs that every girl tries to put in their cabaret. It's a cute enough song and I absolutley loved it when I heard Kristen sing it with the Cincinnati Pops at Music Hall (in Cincinnati). That whole concert was amazing...and only $10!
its a cute song but i really love the rest of Marcy and Zina's songs better. My friends and I sang "I Want Them... (BALD)" to our bald chorus instructer at our concert. Check out the rest of their music...
Without Sondheim, when sensitive teenagers got depressed, they'd just kill themselves.
