Techincal Difficulty today at OTTC

Before Veronique, at today's show, something in the set broke. So the show was delayed for 5-7 minutes. Peter Gallagher and the men who played the lackeys took it like champions. Not only did Peter praised the set design, he talked to the audience and asked where everyone is from. It was nice. At the end, he joked that he and everyone else in the cast were just opening acts for Kristin. When they get back, they restarted the pre-Veronique scene, Peter said "The show is about...oh, I forget". And Kristin made a joke about the delay. Everyone was laughing so hard I couldn't hear it. The whole thing was cool to see. Peter and the others were class acts.

I love it when actors play off the technical mistakes made during shows. When I went to see The Audience last week, two mistakes had been made but both Helen and Richard McCabe used those mistakes to their advantage.
