Its how the show opens. The DJ is going through Vinyls of ALW shows then pulls Cats, opens it, blows glitter of it and starts playing.

that must be new, cause the three times i saw this at PAC NYC, the DJ went thru classic disco underground vinyls, then pulled out the recording of Cats, opened it and blew the glitter
