Anyone else having trouble accessing telecharge online? I've been trying to get tickets to "Spring Awakening" and "Curtains" (yes, it IS possible to be interested in both) all day.
I can access the site, but once I put in the password, I get a message that I am "in violation" !!!???
Several of my friends and family are having the same problem. The telecharge people claim that nothing is wrong.
If anyone gets any information today, let me know.
Can we instigate a riot at Telecharge?
Don't do too much searching-they will block you for three days or more. This searching is now a "crime."
Wow. Yet another reason I'm glad I'm in NYC and can just go to the box office. (The no service fee at the b.o. being the primary reason having to do with theatre things.)
I also have not been able to get onto telecharge.com for the past 3 days. I called and they said the website is running fine with no problems. I can get onto every other website except telecharge.com. What is the problem?

For those who cannot get on the telecharge.com site or take advantage of broadwayoffers.com lately:
Telecharge tells me they have been getting more traffic than their servers can handle since Sunday evening, and at various other times.
I hope theaters depending on them for ticket sales are aware they are losing out, and will urge them to get more servers.
My problem with accessing telecharge started late last week.
Telecharge is a MESS!

Finally heard from Telecharge. Can you believe - they are purposely blocking their highest users (I usually buy 4 or 5 sets of tickets every month).
Here is what they wrote me:
"Thank you for your email. Unfortunately we are forced to create usage restrictions on our site because if we do not our entire website can crash. We try to be generous in our search limits, but there are times when customers looking for just the right seats may find themselves blocked temporarily. In the future, please try to do slightly fewer searches (or do them more slowly) and you will not be blocked."
awful way to run a business. They deserve to lose a lot customers for their attitude.

I didn't realize there were so many threads on this topic, so I will post this in each of them. As I mentioned in one of these threads earlier, we (accidentally) tightened our usage restrictions too severely. This has led to some customers who care about where they sit (and therefore do lots of seat searches before they purchase) get inadvertently blocked from the site. This problem will be resolved tomorrow morning. Some incorrect information was given out before we identified the problem. And we are VERY very sorry for the inconvenience.
Feel free to email me at feedback@telecharge.com with further concerns or questions.
