Telecharge vs. Box Office - a question

Does Telecharge have access to all tickets for a performance, or are there select seats that you can purchase only at the box office?

It's been my experience that Telecharge does not have access to the whole house. I've ordered tickets through Telecharge and have gotten seats at the Box Office for the same venue and unless the show is the super-popular sold-out type, I've gotten better seats at the box office. MUCH better seats.

Telecharge's computer is also a PITA because it only releases seats in numerical order. For example, if Telecharge has access to H 1 through 25, and 1 through 4 have been sold out, and seats 12 and 13 are the ones you would like, you're out of luck...you MUST take 5 and 6. If you pretend to have a large group of, say, 10 people, you can get seats 5 through 14, but if you cut that group of 10 down to 2, it automatically gives you seats 5 and 6 again. I know this...I've tried.

Going to the box office also saves you the $6 conveinence charge.

I prefer going to the box office rather than using telecharge, ticketmaster, ect. You can actually pick which seat you really want. It is sometimes hard to do this since i dont live in nyc and when i get into the city (about once a year) i have to order the tickets in advance (in fear of it being sold out.)
