Telsey + Company will be holding auditions at the LA Film, Stage and Showbiz Expo (register for the Expo for free at the link below). They will be casting for:

9 to 5

Rock of Ages
Next to Normal
Peep Show (Las Vegas)

TALENT SEARCH TIMES: 10AM - 5PM

PREPARATION:

Please bring a photo and resume stapled together, a 16-bar cut (with a clearly marked start AND stop point) of a pop/rock or contemporary musical theater song that shows your range.

A piano accompanist will be provided.

A CAPPELLA performances will NOT be allowed.

Sheet music MUST be in the correct key.

Telsey + Company doesn't have a website, but for this specific casting call you can go to http://theshowbizexpo.com

From there, go to the drop down on the big ATTEND tab and click: What happens at the Expo. The casting call info is supplied there.

hey J'aime,
I actually have gone to all of the Showbiz expos in NYC and loved it. i met so many different people each time. the way i look at it is its free, so what the hell right? anything you get out of it is plus. they do also have workshops and stuff which i did and enjoyed. this next one looks like its in los angeles. i wanted to go out there for some auditions so i am planning my trip around this one. i booked my hotel through the expo too cause they have discounted hotel rooms. hope we run into each other :)

Also...do the workshops fall on the same day of the auditions?

You DO NOT have to be an equity member to audition.

Since the Film, Stage and ShowBiz Expo is a one day event, an audition may coincide with the other workshops. However, you can schedule an audition for a time when a workshop you want to attend is not going on.

Scheduling an audition takes place the day of the Expo...you can pick your time slot then.
