I was wondering if anyone knows any resources on How Broadway has effected NYC in terms of economics, employment ect. It is for a sociology paper. I am interested in anything from the 1850s-present.

Any help on where to get books, articles, statistics would be great!

Do you have access to the EBSCO database? That's where I research all of my social sciences papers.

Go buy the DVD 'Broadway: The Golden Age' - they talk about Broadway and NYC and the interaction of the two - what it was and what it is now.
