Oh...that voice! The singing voice AND the speaking voice. It was the voice that won me and many other fans over when he played the beast in B&B. You didn't get to actually see him until the very end of the play; and then it was the face, too!

...but it's always the voice.

(and on top of all of that, a very nice man(n))

Definitely our favorite actor, and SUCH a nice personable guy. Met him at an audition workshop he was doing in NYC (as observers), and he was amazing. The actors would come out and do their normal audition, and then he would give them suggestions. Then they would do it again with his suggestions, and they were SOOOO much better!

We met him again in the street outside Lincoln Center before the Showstoppers concert (that he performed in in the Les Mis portion with Colm Wilkinson), and he was sooo nice, taking time to talk to us for a bit.

He was the only reason we went to see Lennon (my wife doesn't like Beatles or John Lennon music at all), and thought he did a great job. Coloring his hair probably was done to "fit in" with the rest of the cast - does make him look years younger.

We'll go see whatever he's in after Lennon (will go see Lennon again too) - saw him first in Cats, then in Beauty and the Beast, Pimpernel, and as an extremely diabolical Javert in the last Les Mis Broadway performances. The best Javert!!!

His wife is also VERY talented - went to go see her in "Chicago"....

The only time Terry has real pitch problems is when he drinks too much.

Les Mis was the reason that I started loving Terrence Mann. he was incredible in it. And I was so lucky I got to see his last performance ever of it on May 4th, 14 days before the show closed. He was fantastic! And listening to BATB, incredible! I never knew it was him until I saw the cast list. So talented. Wish I could see Lennon.

You must remember all the same that at the crux of every game is knowing when it's time to leave the table... And it's important to be artful in your exit. No turning back, you must accept the con is done... It was a ball, it was a blast. And it's a shame it couldn't last. But every chapter has to end, you must agree.

There's a special kind of people known as show people. We live in a world full of dreams. Sometimes we're not too certain what's false and what's real. But we're seldom in doubt about what we feel.
