Posted: 11/26/08 at 11:02amHey, i've never rushed Thanksgiving weekend, and i know it's pretty busy. What time should i get to the Gypsy box office for rush tickets? I know they give out tickets all day, but i really want the front row. Thanks.

I don't know about Thanksgiving specifically either, but generally you need to be there before 8:30 to have a shot at the front row. Before 8 would be the safe, but you never know when the 5am crazies will be in town.
If you go Saturday and you don't mind the matinee, you have more wiggle room. I got front row for the matinee showing up after 9:30 on a September Saturday. Remember, Sunday box office doesn't open till 12.
also - now, if you search for tickets to gypsy on march 1st, telechage has a warning that the performance might be taped from cameras set up throughout the house. I hope its for great performances and not just someone's secret archives!
