I think the bringing back of Les Mis might be a good thing IF we are given a slightly diffrent version of the script which American Audeinces haven't seen or just revamping it.
I think shows need to learn how long they should stay open. I think Cabaret did it the best. The show was amazing and yes it had stunt casting to keep it going but i feel they were like ok we need to close and move on. Now maybe this is just me thinking this blindly but i felt like they did it right.
Personally i don't feel that Chicago, Sweeney, and Woman In White "deserve" healty LONG runs i mean yes they are great productions but not EVERYONE must see them.
