Definitely agree with this. That dude is on stage the whole time standing in front of a phone and the whole time I was thinking "why did this guy get 4th-5th billing??" Then at the end he sings this stunning song that serves as one of the emotional climaxes of the show along with gorgeous ensemble singing. Who would have thought?

All true, and I would add Dickinson's song-Cool Cool Considerate Men, For some reason, 1776 is rife with one off numbers by very supporting characters. It's part of the show's charm.

Especially interesting since Franklin and Jefferson, the second and third biggest parts don’t have solo numbers.
