The front two rows of The Band's Visit have been put on sale for when I'll be in NYC in late November.

The second row is premium - but the ends on the front row are regular price.

For someone who's seen the show - how high is the stage? Is the front row bearable? Hardly seems worth paying all that extra money for one row!

I got a rush seat all the way on the left side front row. It was great seeing the actors and show so close, but the stage is very high. You basically see everything, but the view is cut off so you do not see some of what is lower on the stage, but that really doesn't make you miss anything important, just gives you a more limited view. For a rush price, I didn't mind. I think the person behind me didn't pay rush, was one seat over closer to the wall and was a bit surprised when she first got there and saw her seat.

I sat first row on the side and I am pretty short but felt like I could see everything, if you want a raised seat cushion ask the usher as you are seated- I have used them sitting in the front row and they are great.

I sat in the second row (BB) center, Tuesday night.  It was a free ticket for me through Audience Rewards, so not sure about regular price.  I noticed that many of the people on the first row, especially the woman, were sitting in their seats leaning back, then looking up.  If you are tall, it seems like being that close wouldn't affect your view as much.  The bottom of the stage will be cut off from your view from the first row. Where I sat, second row, stage view for me was not cut off, because I am 6'3.  But for shorter people, even second row, you could lose the view of the actor's feet.  Normally, I would never sit that close for a musical.  But for this show, I think it helped, at least for me, to get into the story and characters.
