I liked this one...at least more than I have the past few (which have just never lived up to the first, not to mention last month's bad excuse for an episode). Thoughts?
I liked it, too! Not my favorite, but still fun.
I'll definitely be walking around all weekend singing "sea legs... Not your a or b legs..."

This was definitely my favorite in a while. I LOVED the production numbers and it was the first one in a while where I really started feeling a connection to the characters. It's still not as perfect as I sometimes hope, but considering that there are no formal producers or film crew, these kids have created something with more creativity than a lot of the crap that's being produced. It was also the first in a while that really made me want to see more.

People still watch this...?
the songs are awful and the "leading" man's voice makes my ears bleed.
I loved it!
I adored this episode!
I have no idea what the *&%$ that "Sea Legs" number was about or where it came from, but my friends and I were laughing out loud it was completely random and campy. I think it's inevitable that the episodes will get better and better from now on, now that they are understanding the medium and form a little bit more. I think this one made a big jump from the last episode.
I loved this episode! The only thing I would change is Jakes hair back to it's natural color!
^I'm definitely agreeing about Jake's hair. He's like me - the blonde just doesn't work. (Sorry, Jake! I still heart you!)
Didn't realize there were two threads going on this- sorry to disagree, but looking back at previous episodes, Jake as a blonde definitely adds to his performing persona and charisma.

I really did not like that episode AT ALL. I've enjoyed watching the show so far but not this time. "Sea Legs" was a blatant copy of "Cold Feets" from The Drowsy Chaperone, except not as good. However, I guess it's good to see some sort of plot arc with the whole Pepe Perez thing.

I LOVED this one. I agree with everyone else, Jake's definitely getting back on track! I do have to wonder if all his efforts have been rewarding. Does anyone know if he's been moving up in the world or getting jobs since the show started? The show doesn't seem to have producers so I assume it's all coming out of his pockets. Judging by the last episode, I'd have to guess production costs run rather high. In any case, I hope that things are working out for him outside of the show too. He's certainly brought a really fun, highly anticipated project to many of us theatergoers out there.

This show is an example of how annoying theater people can be. Jake is not nearly charismatic or talented enough to be on Broadway. He comes across as extremely gay and his heterosexual story lines are uncomfortably forced and unnatural. The songs are terrible, the plot is uninteresting, and all of the jokes fall flat. I get what Jake Wilson is trying to do, but he has not succeeded.

For the most part.... his name will start popping up more often. He has been approached about something fairly big (more info to come).
"the show doesn't seem to have producers so I assume it's all coming out of his pockets."
there are backers/supporters. it's not all coming from his pockets.
Many of them also were performers on the cruise, so they were not paying for travel expenses.
