Has anyone heard anything more about this and how Ms. Andrews is making out as the director?

It's funny you should ask that! Today, I was in the studio audience for a Julie Andrews interview and she talked about the Boyfriend.

I do believe the run is over, but Dame Julie said that there has been some talk of perhaps transferring it later to off-Broadway or to Broadway. Of course, it's only talk right now.

She loved her first experience as a director by the way! PM me if you'd like more info! :)

I was supposed to see this show on August 14th; in fact, we were on our way out to Sag Harbor for dinner and the show when The Great Blackout of 2003 took place. Needless to say, we didn't see the show and were given a refund for the tickets.

I can say that the show received respectable reviews and that Meredith was praised for her performance as Polly. Justin Bohon was also singled out for his sensational dancing and Ms. Andrews received nice words for her direction and pacing.

The show is supposedly headed for Broadway, but Ms. Andrews is filming some sort of movie that will delay the Broadway production for a while.

I hate the boyfriend! I was in it, worst experience! lol, but good to hear Ms Andrews was good
