The Broadway Album

Alright you Idina-Eden fans, if you want to hear a master-diva belter in her prime, then I suggest you purchase Streisand's "The Broadway Album." I was just listening to it again yesterday and though the arrangements sound a little dated, the voice cannot be denied. She's done more to spread theatre music to the masses than any other vocalist. This album is loaded with Sondheim and actually introduced me to alot of his shows (when I was back in middle-school) by running to the library to hear the full shows these amazing songs were from. I dare you to NOT get goosebumps when Babs sings "Somewhere." If this album has skipped a generation of theatre fans - then consider this a call to arms to get this album. It is stunning! Enjoy!
