The Busy Spring Season

As one looks and sees how many show's are opening this spring, I wondered, is this the busiest season in several years? There are certainly more musicals, especially new musicals, than in the last few season. I know someone on here might have a better idea of the actual openings and number of productions.

This season will have 42 shows open. Last year there were 39, and the year before there were 43.
