I know how to fix the show - in the second to last scene, Marmee finally lets loose - SHE wanted to be a professional writer, but had to raise a family instead. The 11:00 showstopping number would be called "Marmee's Turn." Who's with me? Huh?

It's actually even funnier when you realize that one of the plethora of LITTLE WOMEN producers is Jana Robbins, who stood by for both Tyne Daly and Linda Lavin as Rose, and has played it regionally as well.
