"The Crook: A Rehearsal" is the latest work from Empire of Teeth, one of LA's hottest contemporary theater companies. This innovative interdisciplinary ensemble takes on the original Broadway musical, "The Black Crook" (1866), deconstructs it and pieces it back together again, warts and all! Join in the madcap mayhem as the hysteria of the Broadway stage and religious spectacles is combined with self-reflexive, postmodern culture, where everyone is a "crook"!
