I'm wondering if The Drowsy Chaperone is appropriate for children. Did anyone see it in L.A.? What is the amount of language, sexuality, innuendo, and other censorable elements? Is it family-friendly?
The Man in Chair has a crush on the leading man character in the musical within the play, references a marriage that went south due to his implied homosexuality. Also a quick, but funny lesbian reference. Maybe a slight innuendo here and there.
Man In Chair also sips a little brandy in the second half of the play, but I doubt younger kids would know the difference. I would take any kid over 10 in a heartbeat, especially if they love musical theatre.
