re: The Drowsy Chaperone vinyl good?

Hey guys!

Just FYI, until the show closed the theater was selling the "Limited Edition" vinyls that are from the first pressing. They have a number/1000 on the back, bottom left hand corner.

We are all out of the first pressing in the office, though there are still some out there being sold. If you order the Drowsy Vinyl now, you will get the 2nd pressing, which is still somewhat limited as only 5000 were made. They are not numbered, but say "2nd Pressing" on the back. That's how you tell the difference!

And I obviously think it is worth it to get the vinyl... :) What a perfect gift it would make for St. Patrick's day! Just kidding :)

re: The Drowsy Chaperone vinyl good?

Well after nine months since I posted this thread I finally decided to buy it! It should come today or the second. I can't wait!

re: The Drowsy Chaperone vinyl good?

Just curious... what is the difference between the first and second pressings? Because I have the second pressing, and it does not have a "booklet". It has a slip for the vinyl, but that's it.

So didn't you just answer your own question?

"booklet" (first pressing) vs. slip (second pressing)

there ya go!

Just wondering, how do you buy it now? Could you get it online?

Oh yeah, thanks Charleston! I guess I did! =]

Aww... Now I'm sad! Can anybody take pictures of their first pressing? I'm really interested to see it...

(Maybe I can find one on ebay if it's not too much)
