The First Nudie Musical?

Has anyone seen this horrible film?
Someone told me it was being made into an off-Broadway musical.
I guess with Naked Boys Singing and Debbie Does Dallas, anything is possible, but I think it's a ghastly movie that is better left on the $1 bargain rental shelf...of Betamax!

Made in 1976, it's actually a lot of fun, despite the pretty crude script. Short form of the plot: ths guy goes into the porno business to save the family business from being turned into a shopping mall. The musical numbers are a hoot, and the plot has potential that wasnt realized. Sure, it's dated (what film from the 70s isnt?), but it's got possibilities.
