None of these shows seem to have any traction anymore. Are they just outdated? Or are they "never-were" productions? Or if we had a stronger off-Broadway scene, would they be produced there?

Hasn't Irish Rep done DA recently?

Words don't deserve that kind of malarkey. They're innocent, neutral, precise, standing for this, describing that, meaning the other, so if you look after them you can build bridges across incomprehension and chaos. But when they get their corners knocked off, they're no good anymore…I don't think writers are sacred, but words are. They deserve respect. If you get the right ones in the right order, you can nudge the world a little.

Oh you're right. This wasn't even on my radar.

I really hoped it wouldn't be the case, but sadly I have really lost track of Irish Rep as they've temporarily relocated. I always intend to check in on them more often than I do.

I've read the script to Any Wednesday. It's a cute little comedy with one scene where the leads play a word association game (I used to play it when I was a kid and I think it was called something along the lines of Indian Chant) that had me nearly hyperventilating. I don't know about the other shows.
