Mrs R & I saw it today & throughly enjoyed it.

It was almost totally full. The entire cast headed by Kudisch was superb

The score is first rate & hopefully they will record it. Try & see it before it ends early January.

There is a total redo of Lincoln Center being undertaken now. I was also shocked that the Opera store was closing.

I enjoyed the show as well. I certainly hope for a recording. Lincoln Center is pretty good about that...

By the way, there is an ending which may have been inserted re a stagehand & a trash can. Was that in there when you saw it.

Saw the show last Saturday. It's fanastic. It's kind of an ode to a "life in the theatre." Very sincere, simple and all about telling the story. Oh, and more phallic humor than you can shake a stick at (so to speak).

An exerpt from my review:
"The show is a bawdy but ultimately touching look into a 16th century commedia dell’arte troupe plucked by Scala from their ordinary lives into a life in the theatre with all of its dramatic ups and downs. If I had a dollar for every phallus, pelvic thrust and crotch grabbed in the show, I could retire peacefully and just write reviews for Man In Chair."
