This is a thread dedicated to the actors who have made careers out of the theatre moving from broadway houses to small off broadway houses. These are the actors who sometimes do films or television for the paycheck mostly but are passionate about live theatre. Their versatility is unmatched and they are simply the greatest. I am not referring to the Hunter Foster crowd who are more bitter about it and I am not necessarily referring to broadway stars suck as Sutton Foster or Norbert Leo Butz. I am referring to the actors who are not necessarily known to most of the theatre viewing public but work day in and day out in both plays and musicals steal scenes get raves and gain the respect of both their audiences and their peers. They might get recognition such as a Tony or a breakout role but they always remain committed to the theatre. So heres to them!!!!!! From Jan Maxwell to Greg Jbara to Bobby Steggert to Jessica Hecht to Bill Heck to Kevin Chamberlain and on and on and on. So this is a thread all about them and their brilliance. So share your favorite one and add a few to the list.

Katie Finneran seems like one of these people to me. She takes on smaller roles and does fabulous work with them. She is an incredible talent, yet seems to fly under the radar of commercial hype and celebrity.

Mandy Gonzalez immediately comes to mind because she can do no wrong with the craft of her performances and in real life, she is 100% humble and grateful for your taking some time to just say hello on the street.
