The Broadhurst would also be a possibility for a name change. Cabaret opened there plus Kiss of the Spider Woman played the Broadhurst for its entire run, so there's two major Prince associations.
It is named for George Broadhurst, a playwright who was popular in his day, but is essentially forgotten now. I couldn't tell you the titles of any of Broadhurst's plays.
The renaming could be finessed the same way the Beck/Hirschfeld change was, with a plaque honoring the original namesake on the interior.
[Trivia time:
Q: What legendary Broadway event effected Cabaret's move out of the Broadhurst?
A: Breakfast at Tiffany's blew up and closed after 4 previews freeing up the much-sought-after Majestic 2-3 weeks after the opening of Cabaret. Fiddler playing the Imperial, moved to the larger capacity Majestic, and then Cabaret moved to the larger-capacity-than-the-Broadhurst Imperial. This was all done relatively soon after Tiffany's collapse, a couple of months.]

Thank you for that bit of trivia. I'd love to see more of these bits of info on Broadway World

You make an excellent point. And yet I'm still blue about this.
