It's Idina's hair. She will do what she wants with it. It isn't your hair. Your hair is sitting on top of your head. Whine about that if you want. Leave Idina alone.

I have this theory that if you cut off all her hair she will look like a british man.

I don't need a life that's normal. That's way too far away. But something next to normal would be okay. Something next to normal is what I'd like to try. Close enough to normal to get by.

I will never truly understand the fascination with certain people and their sick obsession with Idina Menzel. To not see the appeal is one thing, but to not fathom an obsession like this is quite another.

And it frightens me.

If you hate these threads, why open them?

That's simple. Regardless of how inane your original post undoubtedly will be, it's worth suffering through it just to see the numerous amusing posts ridiculing you publicly.

Oh, and if growing out her bangs prevents the last note of Defying Gravity from sounding so flat then I'm all for it. Otherwise, I couldn't care less.

i agree that this is kind of a random subject...but i have to agree with the fact that idina needs to get rid of those bangs.

i can't understand why some people are having issues about Idina's Bangs. I think she's just perfect as she is. It's her hair, so she can do whatever she wants with it. Whatever Idina does with her Bangs or whatever, I'd still love her for who she is

Wait, "make a comment" is now synonymous with "create a stalkerific thread and act like a total tool"?

Guess I didn't get the memo.

How about you go write a letter to Idina and tell her to grow out her bangs? I'm pretty sure she'll agree and love you forever.

Are you kidding me?!
I mean come on: IT'S HER HAIR, NOT YOURS.

Lord, you know, I don't think enough people have said "OMG THIS THREAD IS SO DUMB" & "IT'S IDINA'S HAIR" enough times. Does the creator of the thread get it yet!??!?!?!

Can we just let it DIE, or does EVERYONE on BWW have to make this person feel like an idiot first? Updated On: 9/30/06 at 11:15 AM

How is this thread any creepier than any of the "Hottest Actors/Actresses currently on Broadway" threads that everyone seems to love?

They both pertain to how a certain person looks, which isn't obsessive whatsoever. It's all a matter of personal opinion- and I, for one, don't care much for Idina's bangs either.

Now, if the original poster had intentions of changing the way Idina did her hair, they were easily mislead.

seriously, guys, there are TONS and TONS of threads pertaining to peoples' looks. What is really THAT wierd about this thread? It doesn't mean that the original poster is a physco freak/obsessive fan, it simply means that they noticed something about idina's looks and wanted to discuss. Granted sure, its a little bit silly to have a whole thread about her bangs, but its not WIERD or worthy of getting all bitchy about it.

and for the people who are saying they dont get the facination and/or obsession others have with idina- do you not have a favorite broadway actor/actress? do you not get really exited when new things pertaining to them surface? do you not like to discuss anything and everything about them? Granted there ARE plenty of people who dont have any major obsessions and DONT doing any of the afformentioned things, but I'd like to think that the majority of people who take the time to come on and read message boards like these proobably have some kind of broadway obsesion, and proobably have a favorite actor/actress. And for those who dont, well, I envy the fact that you dont get obsessive like I do :) but I guess what I'm trying to say is that I KNOW I'm not the only one. Some people are just obsessive about things/people. That doesn't make them wierd or annoying, its just an aspect of their personality, and I personally dont like to be judged just because I tend to be rather obsessive. I like to believe that I'm fairly good at controlling my obsessivness when I'm interacting with people who dont have the same interests as I do and wouldnt give a twig, but these boards are my place for venting. And I'm sure thats the case for most of the people who come on here. So, if these boards were specifically meant for people to be able to vent about their love for broadway, why should other posters critisize people for coming on and doing just that?

sorry, that was a HUGE long rant, but I just had to get it out. lol

I don't mind people being obsessive. I mind complaining about someone's f***ing hair because they don't like it.

Even the title of this thread -- "The Idina needs to grow out her bangs thread" -- what's that about? Idina doesn't "need" to do anything just because you don't like her hair. That's not obsessive. That's just being over the top.

For those of you who don't like her bangs - you need to learn to deal with change. Change is what makes life interesting and worth living.

People who don't like her bangs don't need to "learn" anything. I wasn't a fan of Idina in the first place, but it's not going to make me like her any less just because I don't enjoy her hair-do.

If the original poster had intended on getting Idina to cut her hair, then I see where you're coming from.

However, they only stated they disliked it, there's nothing wrong. Sure, they could have worded the thread title differently, but I'm sure they didn't assume people would take it so literally.
