Saw The King and I with Sandy Duncan last night. I enjoyed it very much. The sets were very beautiful. Sandy is not a very good singer. Nice to see that the BC/EFA drive has begun!

The man playing the King was barely audible. The best people in the cast were the young lady and man who played Tuptim and Luntha.

brdwythtr, i agree with you about the king, i wasn't all that impressed but i thought sandy was very good and i loved the girl who played tuptim i think her name is liz lor she was amazing

I saw it when it passed through Hartford, or 1/2 of it anyway. I couldn't suffer through the king another minute. I held out longer than many, some left within the first 10 minutes - I don't know their reasons of course. The rest of the cast was great.

At those ticket prices, I would stay for more than 10 minutes.
