"The setting of "The Last Dance" was a luggage carousel in what appeared to be some sort of futuristic airport. The idea is that the old people are waiting to collect their bags before heading into the afterlife. They sing songs that supposedly have something to do with their reaction to dying."
This may be my favorite summary of a bad musical plot ever.
The best part is that it's called "THE Last Dance," not "Last Dance" (the Donna Summer song).
My grandpa used to call it "The Last Dance."
"Have you heard that new song, "The Last Dance" by Donna Summers? Great tune! Catchy beat!"
EDIT: Maybe they should just call it "Thank God It's Die Day!"
