Is there any dialogue in this show? Not having ever seen it, I was wondering if it just worked as song afet song, or what? Does anyone have the script?
there is no real dialogue, but from what I remember, there are extended musical sequences where some talking does take place, like in "moving too fast", Jamie talks on the phone.
that kind of small stuff.

I believe all the dialogue is on the recording.
There's some limited dialogue from Jamie...a phone call, a book reading...but not much at all. None from Cathy that I can think of.

In cases like these, consult "the Bible."

I'd be careful about using that site as the be all end all. Sometimes, they don't have the libretto, just the lyrics (like I know that Millie has dialogue, but it's not there). In this case, though it's correct.
I *love* this show Sherie & Norbie: AWESOMENESS *sigh* And they are great together in DRS, too.
As far as I know, Jon is right: It's all on the CD
Just heard/read that there is going to be a a production in London. This is all that has been said: "Dates have finally been announced for Jason Robert Brown’s The Last Five Years in London. Just hours after Brown writing in his online blog that ‘in the last forty-eight hours, things got completely f***** up and now I don't know what’s happening’, the Menier Chocolate Factory – who have left it late to announce dates, and still not announced its cast – revealed that previews begin on July 18th for a season until September 30th. The two-hander, directed by Matthew White, is one of the most eagerly awaited musicals for avid musical theatre fans; the CD has an almost cult like status, particularly amongst students studying musical theatre in Britain."

It's not ALL on the cd. There are some phone calls and other little things, but there's not very much.
