The Lion King - Paris

I have seen that The Lion King is opening on the 4th of October and that it is in previews. I can see how to book for tickets from the 4th of October but not before then.

Does anyone know about this production, is it in previews (or will it be by the 13th of September)?

I'm not positive but on David Eguren's myspace it only shows October 4th for the first day, but you could always email him and ask.

Sadness. I've heard that it will be there for at least a year, so if you plan on going back...

Have you seen any musicals while you are there?

I have never seen one in France, that's what made it appealing (apart from the mini shows at Disneyland Paris that is). I am not fluent in French so I wanted to see something I know, Cabaret is on but I know nothing about that.

I hope I can see Cabaret when I go. Have you seen the movie. You'd probably be fine without knowing much French or else there is always Germany or The Netherlands.

I'm only there Monday - Friday, mainly for Disneyland but that closes at 8pm. I want to see Starlight express in Germany but don't think that would work.

Yeah and Lion King is in Hamburg and tons of other shows. Starlight would be a cool one. You could always get help from the hotel I suppose.

Seems like I need to make a trip to Germany. I haven't been there in 10 years or so.
