The Lion King - mini review

So I just saw Lion King in Vancouver last night, and I must say that I was simply blown away! It was breathtaking, beautiful, and such an innovative show. I have never seen anything like that!

Brenda Mhlongo as Rafiki was INCREDIBLE. What a voice!!

As well as Adam Jacob as Simba and Syndee winters as Nala.

I don't know the show a well as some of you, but Morning Report was gone, as was a dance break in Can you feel the love tonight, which I think someone mentioned was not needed.

Of course the opening number was incredible, but the part I fell in love with and had tears in my eyes during was the reprise of He lives in you. What an amazing song.

Only criticism.. What the heck is with Chow Down.. With a show that has such amazing things, how can the same creative team think that was a good idea?? It sticks out like a sore thumb.

All in all.. 5 stars. Loved it.
