Turning in first week numbers as it did, what's the life expectancy of Prymate? Is it that they didn't have any advance press? Or as has been offered here, that the play is simply offensive?

Sometimes a show can be offensive and actually be a good show. Then there are others that just want to be offensive to be "edgy". Movies are the same. I know I'm not particularly interested in watching an ape pee on a girl and watch her give it a hand job. But so far, that it all I've heard about it. Most of Durang's work is pretty offensive, but it is supported with rather amazing text and topical issues. The rape scene in Betty's Summer Vacation was rather jarring, but I thought it was a very good play.

Should have booked Mindy Cohen for Heather Tom's part. Now that Mindy is committed to taking over for Kristen on July 20th, the folks at Prymate are up the proverbial creek.

Take Me Out is a marvelous play with clever writing. THERE IS NOTHING DISTURBING ABOUT IT.
See Prymate for yourself. It is crude and disgusting.

The problem with your posts is that since you have that gorgeous peice of meat as your icon I can't concentrate to read what you are saying. Wait.. I will try again.. :)
