The Marvelous Wonderettes vs. the Fabulous Singlettes

I saw Wonderettes last night and could not help comparing them, the name and many of the songs to Stop In The Name of Love starring Alison Jiear and the Fabulous Singlettes.

Their last song was even the same!!!!... "Thank you and goodnight"

Is anyone else familiar with the Singlettes?

I am a big Singlettes fan - saw them many times in Autralia and followed their BBC and other recordings. I see them as the original and best. Alison is the real voice but Naomi etc are great. The Marvelour Wonderettes should be paying them royalties.
