Jefferson Mays, whom you may remember from I AM My Own Wife, evokes Charlie Chaplin as he plays the Vice President in the Gershwins' Of Thee I Sing at City Center Encores...

This ever so talented big-eyed mime has also been previously likened to Buster Keaton.

What do you think of Mr. Mays as a mime?

Well he didnt really play a mime in the show. He sorted looked like Charlie Chaplin but he talked a lot.

It is actually that he has the ability to use mime technique in his performance, not that he is playing a silent mime...
