With all the talk of hot and cute chorus boys, no one commented on the article in the Times this morning about chorus boy Benjamin Brooks Cohen and his personal approach to getting people to see Gypsy.

"I'm learning to dig deep down inside and find the truth within myself and put that out. I think what we identify with in popular music more than anything else is when someone just shares a truth that we can relate to. That's what I'm searching for in my music." - Ron Bohmer

"I broke the boundaries. It wasn't cool to be in plays- especially if you were in sports & I was in both." - Ashton Kutcher

I think the Gypsy cast is very creative. Good for them.

I would so be doing that myself. I am a shameless promoter when it comes to things I believe in. Fundraising and such.

What a great idea! He should be commended.

Many shows work at tkts and try to sell their show.
It is very common. It works.

i like TKTS, I have only used it once. The best thing for students is RUSH, but this new lottery system, the Wicked one espeacily, is overcrowded and ridiculous. I like the first come first serve Rush policys.

Most shows hire flyer people to work the line, Corine. It's not too common for cast members to work the line, although I recall that Side Show did it.
