The link isn't working. Hmm, what does this have to do with Broadway?
Oh, sorry about the link. The camp is mostly instrumental, but it has a phenominal music theatre program. I was just wondering if anyone knew of it.
I've been going to National Music Camp for years, first as a camper and now as staff. I've worked both in the instrumental and musical theatre programs. It really is an amazing camp...just what the faculty is able to get out of the campers in a week...it's phenomenal!
mizzie, were you there this summer? We'll have to talk...
Also, that link should be working. I just tried it out. Maybe the site was down for a bit. You should definitely check it out.

Dude, I was just looking at pictures, and my director from my camp last year was there!! Gosh, I miss that place... can you still register for next summer?
Edit: Do they actually do a musical at the end of the week too? Quick, tell me everything you know! lol

They are definitely still taking applications for next summer.
brdwaybaby, who was your director?
Babs!!! lol I'm sure you would know her by that if you know her.
tshell88, hey there. I was in the Music Theatre Program at the camp, I had the "I'm Not That Girl" solo. Oh, and I think I just set up the link wrong, I can't completely figure the site out yet, lol.
brdwaybaby17, did you go to Wahonowin(sp?)? And yes, they do a big show at the end of the week, and they all end up fantastic! Oh yeah! Babs rules!
hey mizzie, now i can see you in that picture! I was over at the tech table most of the time with laura and i did dance and vocal with the webbers. you'd probably know me best as the one who chased after people to give them their mics...
LOL-sweet! I was very sad about not having a body-mic.
*gives silent treatment for a while*
Meh....I'm over it now. I think.
Yippee! Dancing is fun....I wish I could dance....heaven knows what made me a Sondheim. Oh, but I'm taking dance classes now, and that makes me smile!
Oh yeah, and the pic is me singing O Canada at a local hockey game.
NMC rules....oh and by the way-dancing alot then singing a slower song after having four bars to do, like, well....alot....NOT EASY!
The camp is too late! We start school by the first day...
Aw! That stinks! Yeah, the camp ends two days before school starts for me!

BrdwayBaby, I LOVE Babs!
She taught me at Stratford last summer- you're not one of the Stratfordites are you? If so- PM ME!!!!
I was never an NMC girl although I know a zillion people from there.
I was an IMC GIRL- TAKE THAT!!!!
We did some awesome shows at IMC- Working, Leader of the Pack, A Grand Night for Singing, I think this year they just did Footloose, but alas, I am old.
I'm probably going to be a faculty assistant at IMC next year.....take that NMC :)

oh man we LOVED the Americans at Stratford! Such a hoot- you and your accents!
are you from Michigan? Most of our Americans were from Michigan. I had a roommate from Michigan one year, and one from Pensylvannia another.
Yay!! Go Stratford. No, I don't live in Stratford....but I know someone who does. BWBaby, Canada rules! There were people from the states at NMC this summer....
No, I'm an Ohioan... you won't find me on your hand... well, I guess I would be the wrist, because I'm very close to Michigan... I hope you understand what I'm talking about, otherwise that would be confusing lol
