I just love the film and i think they should turn it into a stage musical and that would be so cool.

What does everyone else think?

I think there was something on this a while back and someone said they were licensing it to regional theaters or something. I think it could work, but it would be a lot of kids to handle, but I guess if Annie can do it, then yeah.

It would be interesting to turn it into a stage show...it could be done, but roquat is right, it would need some work to transform it.

Yeah, it would take alot of work to change it from screen to stage but if they could do it with other films then I don't see why they can't do the same with the Newsies. I'm just hopeing someone will do it
