okay this is somewhat offtopic from what you have been talking about, but i was on this board a really long time ago, and i just figured it was time to come back and rekindle the adam love.
i took about 90 pictures at the bryant park concert, and i have a few really amazing ones of adam... sadly they are not on the computer yet, but i just wanted to give you all a heads up!

That. Was. So. Funny.
And no, Elle - you can't use moving avatars on here. If you upload it as your avatar, we'll see the first shot in the succession on the boards, and when you do the "click to enlarge" feature, you'll see the animation.

Deja vu... it seems like signing autographs was the topic when I first came across Thread #1. So to repeat what I've said before, my brief experience of him indicated that he's that rare performer who loves to perform but is not dependent on an audience for his self-esteem. It's really obvious from his curtain calls - he doesn't milk the applause at all. I think there's a part of him that can't take hysterical fans seriously, and finds it funny that *he* should be the object of their affection, and another part that appreciates having fans and wants to reach out to them.
I can also remember us concluding at one point that Adam is an introvert who probably has trouble dealing with large crowds for lengthy periods of time.
So taking all that into consideration, plus what Emcee said about the atmosphere at Bryant Park, his behavior seems pretty understandable.

(those of you new to my dogs problems, all of last night she couldnt walk and i had to carry her around the house...)
