lol...yeah I am 5'3 and he was definately taller then me(sadly just about everyone is)
I feel the same way...this is the second show I have ever stagedoored....I did Rent when it was the original cast and I was a teenager...but after I saw it for the first time me and my friends decided to stage door..Swear I was there for like 5 minutes and he came right out and right up to me and I think I was blushing and grinning like an idiot..he is so pretty..the second time I was more composed(I think I was)...I was just in awe of how talented and down to earth this cast was...
I have been told pasta...but with butter...
yeah I just got out of the chat room...wow...you crack me up with the spinache popeye talk
omg...you guys are so funny...
btw..I took my mom to the last Company (after months of hearing how she had to go see it from me) she loved it and bought the cast recording for herself and she has not stopped listening to it(she has become like me)...she only wishes that we had time last sunday to stagedoor...I have created a monster
she totally would have asked for a voluntary
true...I guess I have to go to that website and really read up on it...I just think it is weird to ask someone you just met for a hug...but thats just me
Awhile ago, someone included a link to some notecards that had a photo of the Barrymore Theatre with the marquee signs of COMPANY up. Photo, I believe was by Michael Dantuono. Can anyone re-link? Thanks
Hello gorgeous
I think the Chess suit came out of Dr Evil's wardrobe
I think the amazing post-eating board is at it again, and I think it gobbled up em's last post.
I remember reading that thread about the possible extras on the Company DVD. I'm very new here, and didn't (really still don't) know the posters involved, so I had no idea if they were serious or trying to pull a fast one. But the alleged prankster said that Raúl and Sondheim were taping their running commentary of the show on Tuesday (three days after the taping).
As em pointed out, that'd be way to soon for them to have a working copy of the show edited together for them TO comment on.
However, it was the alleged prankster's comment that Sondheim was just getting back from a Starbuck's run for everyone that kinda pushed it into the realm of absurdity. So I think it was a lousy trick to play on unsuspecting fans.
But that doesn't mean that such a commentary is out of the realm of possibility. It almost seems reasonable to expect SOME kind of commentary from someone closely associated with the show. I guess we'll just have to be patient and wait....and wait....and wait....
That was nice.
Even though the program was oddly edited at times, I actually liked how quickly it went by for an awards show. Kristin Chenoweth is pretty amusing, but I think most of her schtick would have worked better with a co-host. It was good to hear the "real" version of Raul's performance since that awful dubbed version is what exists on YouTube. And yes, his speech was very articulate and heartfelt (...he loves the word "extraordinary", doesn't he?)
