It's not like I'm the only one, and i didn't post the show or anything having to with the actors or actresses in the show. they are videos of people singing or trying to sing songs from the show.

Why shouldn't you tube links be posted?

They're not illegal clips and the users have no copyrighted the material. Nothing wrong with it.

Oy, come on folks, we all know there is something like youtube, and we all know that there are a) many videos of people singing songs from broadway shows .... and b) many b******gs. Plus we know this thread won't live very long. So what's the point of posting it?!

I think some people get annoyed because the moderators have specifically asked everyone to refrain from discussing bootlegs and to refrain from linking to youtube.

i think there should be no problem in posting youtube stuff if it's legal... it's stupid to just ban youtube in general just because there are illegal stuff on there... it's not like the poster is like... "here's some illegal stuff for you to see"... some people just need to chill out and get over the fact also that WICKED ain't going anywhere... just deal with it already... no need to get all stressed out

Eatlasagne, it's less about what's legal and what isn't. It's about "what is regarded proper by who runs this board" for Craig quite probably doesn't want to check every youtube link for the evaluation whether it's legal or not.

There is a big locked post about why youtube videos should not be posted. Everyone should read it. These videos do not need to be posted on the site. As already stated, they are not copyrighted, and no one wants to get into trouble.
