Well... I was REALLY excited about the show because of Nathan Lane! I kinda never liked the show except Nathan when listening to the OBR.
But seeing this show live is just FANTASTIC, FABULOUS!!!!!! Nathan Lane was REALLY great! Lee Evans was very cute and funny! The other cast is good too! The music, to me, is average. But the lyrics and book is just SO good! Probably the best I have ever seen! IT's SO funny and hilarious! Nathan Lane was SO good too! I can't actually imagine Richard in the role.... 'cause Nathan sweating and was really having ALOT of energy in singing and acting! But I REALLY like the part of a gay Hitler and 'Springtime For Hitler'!!!!!! The whole cast was GREAT!!!
After the show, I waited outside to get some autographs (so does the whole of the audience!) But after waiting for about 30 mins, a lady came out n say that most of the cast just went straight out fmm the front door to the pub and have a drink with the producers 'casue it's the first nite! I was SO disappointed 'cause I am 15 yrs old and is scared to go into a pub!!!!!
A little disppointment at the end but the show was FAB!!! Though I was actually expectin' a little speech from Nathan/Lee... they might leave for opening nite.....
hope u enjoyed my review (sorry for posting a day late). Go and buy the tikcets NOW!!!!But according to one usher, the top price seats are ALL sold out until late Feb!!!!

Glad you enjoyed the show and the rare opportunity to see Nathan in London (if unfortunate turn of events that brought him there). I hear the tickets for his run are selling fast so houses should be full and appreciative.
