Go to BroadwayStars and you'll see a number of BBC, Times, Guardian and other reviews. The reviews are miraculously wonderful given the short time Lane had to prepare. I think, unfortunately, this will make it even harder for Lane to escape the clutches of Mel Brooks and get back to New York for a rest before the movie.
But as anticipated from the reports of previews, London loved the show. A big fat WAY TO GO to the cast who worked their butts off to be ready after the Dreyfuss debacle. Here's hoping Brooks and Stroman learn something from this (they didn't after Goodman)

There was only one bad review, from the new Daily Mail reviewer Quentin Letts (not a theatre lover who writes about it but a writer that was given a job writing about theatre.. big difference !!).
In a statement obviously at odds with the audience reaction Letts basically said it left him feeling hollow and cold... whatever !

Maybe they made him watch the show from outside the theater? :)
