The Producers national tour w/ Hunter--worth it?

For someone with not so much money in his pocket...is $74 too much money for a row DD center ticket? I would love to see Hunter perform live and have never seen the show before.

If you like to laugh, go for it. Honestly, I haven't laughed so hard since I saw the show, almost a year ago. And Hunter is amazing, so he's worth it (to ma anyway) by himself. Have fun!

Dumb Producers tour, switching Boston to other tour so I can't see Hunter... the nerve... just to spite me, I swear...

NO Bwaytheater11 you are WRONG! There are TKTS in many major cities. They sell discount tickets both at the TKTS location and some online!

Believe me, if I could, I would be in Pittsburgh to see Hunter. He's that good. Especially if you've never seen the show before. I've seen The Producers 3 times and it never fails to have me in stitches the entire time.

And there are TKTS booths in other places other than NYC. I saw one in San Francisco. Sadly Baltimore doesn't have enough theater to warrant one.

Yep, discount ticket booth in Union Square in San Francisco, though I've never used it.

Definitely see The Producers if you can. Funny and witty. Everybody needs more humor in their life and you'll get an extra dose wih this show.

Live theatre is worth the price. HOWEVER........
I saw THE PRODUCERS on Broadway and I did not like it. I might have liked it better with the OBC

I haven't seen The Producers, not in New York or LA. However, if Hunter Foster is doing the tour I will go out of my way to see it.

HERE'S THE CATCH: According the the tour website ther's nothing projected for a return to the West Coast. Does anyone know if the tour will be returning anywhere near LA at some point in the not too far future?

Trust me, it's definetly worth it; I saw it last night, and it was awesome. So hilarious. My Leo and Ulla were understudies, but they were great. I highly recommend it

The tour cast is very good, and it's definitely worth it for Hunter. Check to see if they have some kind of rush. They had $20 student rush tickets for the Tues-Thurs performances when it was here...

Maybe you've already done so, but ALWAYS find an online seating chart for the theater before ordering! Some theaters begin with AA, BB, CC, etc. before A, B, C, and others put them behind row Z. I say from bitter experience. I could have sat in row 4 (DD) when Urinetown played at the Wilshire Theater in Los Angeles, but I assumed that the double letters were in the back, and selected a date where I could get row K. It turned out that at the Wilshire, the double letters are in front and ended up in row 15.

I know the theatre well...it begins with A.

I talked my mother into paying for half of my ticket. My future step-dad might go with me. I have to go on Friday, which is more expensive. I plan on going to Tops Grocery Store to buy the tickets...if I do so online, I have to pay 12 extra dollars.
