Anyone seen it? Or going to see it this weekend at Queens Theatre in the Park. Musical about the journey of the Shangri-las. Going to Sunday matinee.

Was a fun, small-scale "girl groups" jukebox musical fictionalizing how 3 girls from Queens evolved as they launched as a "girl group" in the early/mid 1960's, though to their going their separate ways. Entertaining performances (well cast with good singers), and some super fun costumes. Perfect light entertainment in Flushing Meadows Park, on the site of the 1964 World's Fair. Go on Saturday to also take advantage of the new Queens International Night Market with tons of great food vendors.

Thanks....can't go on Saturday I have tickets to see Tovah Feldshuh in Golda's Balcony at Queens College. Looking forward to it tomorrow though. I really like the Queens Theatre in the Park and wish they would bring more original musicals there. A few years ago they had that one about the female superheroes.....something Sixx or what not. I really liked that and thought they were Broadway bound.
