Em, I wasn't asking to be a stalker either, I wasn't gonna go down there and be an annoying fangirl. I was just wondering who Twotrey was that he was able to go, that's all. I didn't ask WHERE it was or anything, I just asked HOW he go in.

Reporters, journalists, critics, etc. A press junket houses press conferences and interviews that will be used in all sorts of television/written press, etc. So interviews that you may see pop up on like... I don't know, Access Hollywood, or something could've gone on at the junket.

(Sidebar: I'm going to sit down and gather my thoughts about the movie soon.)

No, i'm aware what a 'press junket' is, I...bah, nevermind.

Twotrey, I'm basically wondering WHO you are and what you do with the press. that's all.

Wow, Emcee. I think you and I are on the same mind wavelength here. Why do we have to SEE every single thing? I like the Hitchockian theory of the best images and scenearios are ones that the audience makes up in their heads. Again, like I said earlier, at least wait until you see the movie before passing judgement. If you do see the movie and you think that everything should have been seen and explained, then that is your opinion and we should all respect that.

I would've liked to see more, but that's just me. There's no reason that we NEED to see more. I just wish the movie were longer in all senses, though. I think even in that, it's about making a MOVIE versus making a souvenier for the fans. The fans love these characters -- but people who haven't ever seen the show need a reason to love them, and in making choices like this, the most important things had to be chosen to be effective in a fair amount of time.

"And, Fredi could still agree she was "too old" and still feel devestated."

Fredi told the NY Times that Chris Colombus "did the right thing" by not offering her the role. She may have agreed with him but it doesn't sound like she turned it down because she was done with Rent as so many of her fans have tried to imply. I think that's what some people are trying to say. The excuses for Daphne and Fredi are getting old. Neither actress seem to be making PC excuses, only their fans.

honestly, Fredi admitted that she was simply and obviously too old for the part...why don't people just say this about Daphne? I mean, whether she was pregnant or not, the last few times I've seen pictures of her, she seemed to be developing wrinkles...atleast, she definately didn't look like a hot young 19 (16) year old. At least Rosario and Tracie were great replacements it seems.
