wow this is gonna be very newbie-ish, but did the accident cause you to want to leave RENT?
my other fav part about Idina fans are that theyre mostly only people who've seen wicked and dont even know that she was in RENT (or were 5 years old when it came out) or produced her own music

uh, yeah - I think so- didn't I say Idina's fans? (Im lost sorry)
No I'm not trying to insult young people who like Wicked and Idina and Rent... (THAT WOULD BE ME)
just the ones that are crying not because Idina hurt herself and is HURT but because she hurt herself and they're not going to get a signed Idina playbill and meet their "inspiration and idol who changed their life"... while really they've only seen her as Elphaba and Wicked and they dont know anything about her.

um, well name-wise, my mom's a big feminist, so she kept her maiden name and bestowed it on us for a little while (weve taken my dads last name now but anyway) ...
well the name happens to be Beenstock (pronounced Beanstalk)
so they called her Andy growing up, and her sister was named (of all names) Jackie
and so they were always Jackie Andi Beenstock
(Jack and the beanstalk.. if you cant get it sorry)
and so um I know crap about names.

my neighbor is Japanese (Sono Yaki is his name) and he got married to a girl named Terri ...
and she took his name so now her names TerriYaki.
hahaha it makes me laugh all the time, but like you Fredi, she wanted to take his name. She didn't care about the embarassment.
but it amuses me

okay so this is directed to anyone (speaking of Marks) ...
Is the cast of RENT on Broadway worth going to see now? I'm venturing up to NYC in a few weeks and was wondering if it would be worth my time to go see them (it's hard watching a non-OBC of RENT, Fredi!! )

k, sounds good. Guess I'll go see it again (seeing as it has been what, 9 years now!) I wish Drew Lachey would just leave.
and about Idina, people are posting other places these conspiracies theories about the interracial marriage threatener moving the platform so shed hurt herself.
and Cam- I'm the same way. And um, one time when i started dating someone , I didn't ask for a family tree- and um, yeah the guy turned out to be my cousin. It was ok because we found out QUICK... but ewww it still grosses me out .

that's awesome. I'm hoping to be at Columbia soon (or somewhere in NYC) and my dream would be ushering for shows!... (haha most people dream of being on the stage, I dream of ushering)
Fredi and Shrbrt, how did you get your ushering jobs?

FrediWB- I will definitely finish reading the thread for that. I can't believe you've read the entire thread!1 I thought I was the only one interested in your career enough to read 499 pages now of Q & A s and random convos... since you know every thing about you I wouldn't think you would have re-read it all.
So, if I were to see you on the street and say "hey! I'm refrain!" would you know who I was/what i was tlaking about?

Tiff- ive posted in MANY other topics :) , well for how new I am that is. I was posting to you today in the Idina thread... and I feel like you were there in the many Caroline or Change threads too... but yeah I think its cool how you guys all know each other (like when we were talking about the straight guys on the boards)
I read that about threadjacking and stuff at the beginning but I dunno what threadjacking is, to be honest.

Hey Nia... I guess I'm now Refrain! Nice to meet you.
Oh man, my bad... sorry If I threadjacked by posting something random-- but I guess this cant be a thread jack if it's a free form convo as Fredi said. ok cool.
again to everyone, thanks for bearing with my "lack-of-adeptness".
and now I'm curious about the work, I haven't gotten to what the B Loop and such is. I'm going to have to read more and read faster.

haha got it Tiff. Thanks for the example.
and wow, I've never been called a RENThead before... but that's cool. (I dunno if you were saying I'm not one of those one-track-minded newbies, or I'm just a cool one, but thanks
!)
as Annie would say, (or sing), "I think I'm gonna like it here!"
So any of you and Fredi ever go over and post to Anthony Rapp? He doesn't communicate like Fredi does he?
ooh and BTW... My choreographer from some shows' name is Jay Rapp... and he is IDENTICAL to Anthony Rapp. it's really scary. (ok sorry had to throw that in there, sorry if that was a threadjack)
