that's awesome. I'm hoping to be at Columbia soon (or somewhere in NYC) and my dream would be ushering for shows!... (haha most people dream of being on the stage, I dream of ushering)
Fredi and Shrbrt, how did you get your ushering jobs?

FrediWB- I will definitely finish reading the thread for that. I can't believe you've read the entire thread!1 I thought I was the only one interested in your career enough to read 499 pages now of Q & A s and random convos... since you know every thing about you I wouldn't think you would have re-read it all.
So, if I were to see you on the street and say "hey! I'm refrain!" would you know who I was/what i was tlaking about?

Tiff- ive posted in MANY other topics :) , well for how new I am that is. I was posting to you today in the Idina thread... and I feel like you were there in the many Caroline or Change threads too... but yeah I think its cool how you guys all know each other (like when we were talking about the straight guys on the boards)
I read that about threadjacking and stuff at the beginning but I dunno what threadjacking is, to be honest.

Hey Nia... I guess I'm now Refrain! Nice to meet you.
Oh man, my bad... sorry If I threadjacked by posting something random-- but I guess this cant be a thread jack if it's a free form convo as Fredi said. ok cool.
again to everyone, thanks for bearing with my "lack-of-adeptness".
and now I'm curious about the work, I haven't gotten to what the B Loop and such is. I'm going to have to read more and read faster.

haha got it Tiff. Thanks for the example.
and wow, I've never been called a RENThead before... but that's cool. (I dunno if you were saying I'm not one of those one-track-minded newbies, or I'm just a cool one, but thanks
!)
as Annie would say, (or sing), "I think I'm gonna like it here!"
So any of you and Fredi ever go over and post to Anthony Rapp? He doesn't communicate like Fredi does he?
ooh and BTW... My choreographer from some shows' name is Jay Rapp... and he is IDENTICAL to Anthony Rapp. it's really scary. (ok sorry had to throw that in there, sorry if that was a threadjack)

hehe Fredi... dont let it hurt your brain
. Well, lets see, she was a young (well highschool aged) Korean girl who started a fan page for you and another girl Erin Laye helped her but then split off to start an Idina page- and then Erin somehow got in contact with Idina and Idina hired this girl to help promote her online and get kids excited about Idina.. I guess I figured since Erin became official for Idina - Cheryl's fan club became official for you. (I thought wrong) but back in the day I read about her meeting you or interviewing you or something

haha no nia, I'm not cheryl if that's what you were implying. But that would have been cool cause then Fredi would have photos of me somewhere...
but anyway, on Sho Bean's little correspondence she told someone for sure she'll def be on tomorrow and she and Idina are both bummed about it
.
anyway... I have no idea if any of you are interested, but I found that old website from back in the day- thats why I was asking Fredi about it- (this thread led me to googling Fredi to see what I could find)

yeah.. .well Broadway star tom would know but Erin was hired by Abe at Hollywood records because she was a die-hard fan and had already created an Idina website so she like... found fans and sent them crap. I dunno- it was like a typical 15 year old Idina fan's dream come true.

yeah she was 15... sorry I'verea the entire website if it seems bizarre that I know all this. I was so intrigued by this story:
15 year old girl sees RENT. Thinks actress is awesome, researches her and finds out about her music deal with Hollywood Records, starts website, writes letter to actress- receives autograph and letter in mail saying they want her to help out with promotion because they visited the website she mentioned in her letter. Girl becomes volunteer for Hollywood records- on Menzel's staff. Interviews menzel, then meets her and hangs out, then becomes friends with her and Idina now considers her "like a little sister" -
in her first album, she has a list of thank yous to family and friends and Erin is one of them.
i find that interesting

ooh and um if anyone ever needs Refrain to do anything she'd be glad (Fredi)

Am i supposed to come back to this thread and check it when Fredi's not here- is that proper board etiquette?

Thought I'd post it here cause im pretty sure Tiff will check... You're a celeb Tiff! I was hanging out at Starbucks today, and I was eavesdropping on some random convo of the people next to me, and i realized they were talking about broadwayworld boards! So i got really excited, and listened even more closely, and then they started talking about harshness towards Idina fans.. and then they were like - yeah, some of the ppl that post on there just tell it how it is- like Broadwayguy and Type_a_tiff.... and I got really excited- and was almost like I know her! (like Elf, Santa- I know him!) - but I didn't. Just thought you'd want to know you're famous, for being a poster.

hey folks.. how is everyone this evenin?
Tiff-- you were talked about , well not exactly positively, but not negatively-- she that you say what you think, and youre not afraid. but what they were saying about you was kind in comparison to the remarks on Bwayguy.
Has anyone seen the touring cast of Hairspray, speaking of Hairspray?

I saw them a while ago, they were quite good...
"Kali, why is Roger on a cliff?"
"Because the cliff is love, Rachel."
"Oh."
