The Robber Bridegroom

I was wondering where to locate this album digitally? I am performing "Poor Tired Up Darlin'" in musical theatre acting II next week (we got the music today) and I can't find anymore I can pay to download the cd. Any help would be much appreciated.

YOU'RE ALL DONE WITH THE RUN OF THE RACE
FOR TODAY
YOU'VE GOT PLENTY OF RUNNING TO FACE
COME TOMORROW!

I love that song.

The Robber Bridegroom

Great memories of the original 1976 production on Broadway-- Barry Bostwick and Patty LuPone, incredible onstage musicians playing their fiddlin' hearts out, gorgeous Doug Schmidt unit set of a barn interior covered in a Grandma Moses painting of the Natchez Trace landscape. Great funny sad music all evening long.

Why hasn't there been a full-scale revival of this show on Broadway in all these years?

Charles, your memory is a little off: Bostwick and LuPone weren't in the same production. LuPone was in the 1975 production with The Acting Company (Kevin Kline was Lockhart.) Bostwick and Rhonda Coullet were in the 1976 production.
When I see the phrase "the ____ estate", I imagine a vast mansion in the country full of monocled men and high-collared women receiving letters about productions across the country and doing spit-takes at whatever they contain. -Kad
