Did anyone else see the Rock on a rerun of SNL singing Elvis? I think we have the new star of "All Shook Up".
In fact he wasn't that bad..good vibrato. Better than Kate Winslet a few weeks ago.

You're not alone. I'll eat whatever The Rock is cookin'.
Yeah, I went there.

Posted: 11/9/04 at 1:02amI'm sorry, but no one (not even Jon Secada) is as bad as P Diddy on Broadway. I mean come on "Raúl Esparza"... how hard is that to pronounce?

I saw this thread and thought "OMG, they're turning the Nicholas Cage/Sean Connery movie The Rock into a movie." I was disappointed when this was not a thread about that.
However, the Rock is pretty cool. I used to watch pro wrestling and he was awesome. His stage presence rocked the arena. Too bad he left for a career in film.

Posted: 11/9/04 at 1:13amNo, I just have a very strong distaste for P Diddy after the Tonys.
#13re: The Rock On Brodway
Posted: 11/9/04 at 1:15amI don't think P. Diddy deserves to be ripped apart. Despite the fact that he wasn't great, he was good. And you could tell he tried - he put a lot of money into that show and now he might be saving another (Gem...) I think he's a great person with amazing intentions. And he's actually smart. I have such respect for him, except for the fact that he hand picks foxkes and minks from farms and has them turned into coats for him - that makes me sick.

three words
vote or die
P diddy puff puff is an idiot. he does not deserve to be on broadway because he has money.

Posted: 11/9/04 at 1:18amI didn't say that. But I give him credit for trying to branch into other areas. That's how you learn, and he's a very smart man.

The Rock could probably be pretty good on bway if given the right opportunity...he def can carry a tune, and from watchin WWE from time to time, he def does a nice job in front of a live audience.

No I was watching it at home on the family television.
Very sorry I missed that. I bet that was a hoot!

Posted: 11/9/04 at 1:38pmMaybe Disney could create a Tarzan musical. Then the Rock could run around on stage for 2-1/2 hours in a loincloth. It would sell out everynight!
