I love Ever After, it's one of my favorite movies. But I really can't see it as a musical. Can't we be done with screen to stage musicals already? Please?

I had the same qualms as everyone else, and though this musical is long, it has incredible potential. The cast is hilarious, and the music beautiful. The first act is definitely long (I was speaking with a Broadway book writer who thought the same), and can definitely use some trimming, but in all, it's a good show.

I'd say, though, that anyone named Danielle, like I am, will be forced to look up during the first number, as they sing DANIELLE DANIELLE DANIELLE for like 5 minutes. :)
